Carry On

Steven is now an endowed member. Grandma and Grandpa Zinn and our home teacher, Brad Ford, joined Steven for the 10am endowment session. I'm so proud of the choices he has made that led him to this moment. He has kept the temple in his sights and hasn't let go of the iron rod. What a special moment it is as a parent to watch your children enter the House of the Lord and be willing to make covenants that will bless their lives here on earth and carry on through the eternities.

(Thanks to Brad Ford for the picture)

Temple Lights

Justin's home! This evening, we drove to the temple to see the sunset and the Christmas lights. It doesn't truly feel like Christmas until we visit Oakland. It was a cold night, so we only stayed until the first hint of darkness. Then we ate dinner at the Round Table pizza place across from the temple.

Mr. and Mrs. Love

It was a hot day for a wedding; in the 100's. However, the bride and groom appeared cool and unaware of what was going on around them. Nikkaila and Bill were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful ceremony. After all the pictures were taken, my family, David's family, and Deborah's family grabbed some dinner and then walked over to the Joseph Smith building for the reception. It was so hot out that my feet were sweating and blisters were forming on my feet. The shoes came off and I went barefoot for the rest of the festivities.
Mr. and Mrs. love off on their first adventure as husband and wife.
